SY APOLLONIA: Oyster 70

This boat has now been sold.

We have known this particular yacht since she was new. I was a young shipwright serving my apprenticeship with Berthon Boat Company when I first met her.

Having had money spent in the right places over the years she has looked after her past and present owner(s) as well as they have looked after her. Her current owner and WM Club Member has lavished over Apollonia and systematically been maintaining, upgrading and enhancing as part of her ongoing maintenance programme.

In my mind Apollonia along with her bigger sister the Oyster 80 are the real deal with regard to ocean cruising yachts in this size category. Powerful, solid and dependable vessels that really are a home from home – and will be for decades to come. Andrew Willett
